From a 96 seats only no brackets that bolt to the fenders

Can I modify them to fit across the back of a 40?

Bracket welding is no problem - but will they fit across without cutting into the upholstery?

@Stepmurr if you made the seat platform at the same height as your inner fender well and used some low channel it might work. I used a seat out of a Blazer in the back of my 40 (69).

Phil, my BIL could probably use them for his 80. I think all his seat rows are pretty beat up.

Pretty sure that would place them too high for adults to sit.

My current backseats from my sentra are right on the floor and I barely clear the roll bar.

I'd really like to try an all toyota seating solution one of tbese days. I could always re-post the seats if I can't make em fit.

Well, I guess thats that!

I suppose I could cut the upholstery apart and skinny them up some. Probably just ruin a set tho . . .
