I need to know the inside measurement between the rear cross member and the shock mount cross member. I looked in tech data and could not find it. Thanks, Al

Here goes Al, from the rear outside edge of the rear crossmember to the centerline of the shock tube cross bar---570MM or 22 7/16" this would be for post 1973 FJ40 Subtract 1/4" for pre 1974 FJ40 HTH John

I got the same measurements John did. heres some pics so you can see where my measurement are from incase you wanted to the end of the tube or the center. Here you go took measurements from both sides for you. I placed the tape end on the outside of the rear crossmember. The Frame is a 76. hope this helps. Sorry I took so long to get them for you had to go to my mother in laws birthday
