Just to let everyone in the forums know, our write-up in January's edition of Four Wheeler Magazine is available on the shelves. Jon picked up a copy last night and let me know, so I ran out and bought 5. (Clint and Joe I have a copy for you in case you're reading this).

I want to let everyone know that when I set out to plan the STR events, this was not what I set out to do, and was the furthest in my mind that we would receive coverage to this extent. It's a great feeling to have a club like this, AND receive national recognition for an event that could help bring more attention to the problem that is affecting OBX.

Once I'm back from Brown Mountain, I'm going to make sure all the attendees and sponsors know about the write-up. I will also post on our old posts drumming up support from the other clubs and let them know to check it out. Should get everyone ready for next year's event.

We've got some planning to do!

Thanks to Jay and Everyone who helped out and attended last year!

Does this mean Jay can release his pics now :grinpimp:

And Congrats Brian this was your trip more than anyones.

I agree fully. I didn't make it to this years but I'm sure you built upon the last years and if it was anytying like that it was an amazing trip with all of the coordination of a professional event.

Great job and now hoping my magazine arrives soon in the mail. That teaster of a fishing pole and the back of a couple 100 series just leaves you wanting more

dude it was the back of a 100 and the front of my rig

Awesome Brian,
I am not sure i can even imagine the amount of work you put into it all. Well done. I hope to make this trip in the upcoming year as it appears to be a family friendly time and wide open for the kids.

My buddy Huck who Joined us in Harlan last year was down there last weekend and saw a bunch of Cruisers coming onto the island. I told him theres a trip every spring and since he is a Tundra owner we would welcome him to join us...

This is a great club

I couldn't find any today...

Nor could I. I could only find the one with the top truck challenge in it and the next month blurb at the end.

I hate TTC. The only thing worse than the articles is the stupid video. They need more articles like the OBX one that is comming out (unless I'm severely disappointed and they turn it into a politcal message about trail closures again).

You wouldn't say that if you have seen it live ;)

Brian, this is a direct testament to the effort and passion and time you and Heather put into making STR happen. You have done a superb job and this is just further validation. And we have a cool club too. :)
