This is my first thread. Thought I would share a pic that came up on my Pinterest of an FJ45LV in Key West, FL.

At first it left a funny taste but the more I look at it, it grows on me. Bezel is upside down and white walls are shameless but it is beautiful restoration.

Credit should go to Instagramer fjintegacay.

Those fake white walls are pretty silly looking. The hood pads and windshield hold downs are farily pointless too.

Thanks for giving me credit. Imagine my surprise at seeing a "restored" LV in Key West as I turned the corner heading to the Southernmost point in the US.

I've got a few more pics of it as well if anyone is interested. I'm guessing the hood was from a donor and they didn't think to remove the pads and hooks when they painted it.

I thinks it's pretty nice looking, just has a few things that aren't my style. I am glad that someone restored it and put it back on the road. Better than the other 90% of LV's that just sit. Thanks for sharing.

Well put JackA....I'd drive it

So did you meet this guy? Is it his work truck? Great advertising if it is....
I went to the Ibis Bay check-in desk to ask about it. The young guys working the desk were clueless. Unfortunately we were rushing to get to a spot to watch the sunset so I didn't get to try the Dock to Dish restaurant.

Darn...I will say lucky for you seeing it. I probably will never get to see one.....took 12 years to see a troops in person. ...

Thanks for posting the additional picks FJinTegaCay. The more I look the more I like. Would never have imagined that color scheme but it's spit-shine perfect for Key West.

I spotted an LV fully restored in Seal Beach CA - white and lime green - and I was so busy breaking my neck to get a good look I forgot to take a few snaps. I'm new so who knows... the owner could be a member of the forums.
