That's where I'm at with it.
I still have to fix a few odds and ends on my truck, but I pretty much have it sold. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't over priced.
If it's relatively rust free and in good shape, I may drive out there and try to snag it, before it disappears like all the others I've found.

look hard for rust. spent 10 years in STL

How much rust is too much?
If there is some rust (a normal amount for a different) would the asking price still be fair?
My thoughts were to push for 18 or 19k if the timing belt hasn't been replaced and if there is some rust.

no pics of the underside are alarming... However, normally if its seen lots of road salt, you will see signs of it in the engine bay.... bolts rusting, etc. Truck looks sweet!

Brake rotor and engine bay look to be free of typical surface rust/corrosion. Pics are pretty grainy tho.

Def look into the timing belt situation.

10 years and 100K miles is about when our LX AHC system started to crap out. I would give that thing a workout to see if you can get it to fault.

Hopefully I'll know more about it tomorrow if all goes well. Sometime tomorrow afternoon my dad should be able to tell me about any rust.
Will post more info then....

So he said the sister of the car lot owner was the owner of the lx. It had a pretty good service history and had minimal surface rust underneath. Everything else looked pretty good with the exception of a small paint ding on the body.
It drove nice and smooth and the AHC worked fine. The guy said if the timing belt hadn't been done yet that they could do it.
