Last Saturday on the trail run, going back over the obstacle that was slow going on the way out to the Coke Ovens, there was a big POP sound that came from the front passenger side. Jonathon and I got out and looked but didn't see anything so we kept going.

I did some closer inspection yesterday and found that I had broken not 1, but 2 leaf springs on the front passenger side. It's the bottom one and the next one up. Luckily, the bottom piece broke behind the Ubolt so it kept it there the rest of the trip AND all of this week while driving.

Good thing I ordered a full OME lift earlier this week. Should be here in a week or so. :D

Problem is I was supposed to go offroading this morning and then spend a day or two on the AZ Run next week.

Better get the duct tape out!

You break a leaf spring, hardly notice and we all kept going. A jeep breaks a leaf spring, it's vice grips, come-a-longs, and chains in the rain. Another Toyota benefit over a Jeep...

I broke the passengar side, front sway bar bracket. It kept clunking, didn't figure it out until I got home.

Went out whelling this morning and made it back no problems. How bout that??

The duct tape held. :)
