He is right. The road climbs a bit where the creek is nearly straight down going west from the bridge. There is a split juniper tree along the cliff. The Quad is in that tree. It was still there last time I looked! If you find the quad, auction it here. Someone may want it for a keepsake! Offer the money to charity.

...Did anyone get a pic of the garbage that we collected? How about an estimate on how much :cool:we totaled? ...John

My trailer was full to the rim with all that sheet metal and wire fencing, and a few fenceposts, a tire, and a dozen trash bags... I didn't weigh it at the transfer station, but I'd guess there was at least a few hundred pounds in there when we unloaded it (recycled all the metal, and dumped the rest)...

Thanks to everyone that day who helped fill it up (that was the hard part...)

No photos unfortunately, but that guy who was shooting video (from Toyota?) that day shot a lot of the rig/trailer backing and turning at the campsite, when the trailer was full.

What's funny is that Fossil Creek keeps making it into the paper. Just today in the Arizona Republic there was another article on it.

Howdy! Yes, another very GREEN article. We had better enjoy it while we can. On of these days it will be another "Roadless area", like the Superstitions. John
