Fossil springs cleanup anyone?

I've never been to a "clean up" - although I have seen them mentioned on this site and another ATV site I frequent...

Is it like I imagine, where everyone meets up and turns into a prison chain-gang like on the highways to clean up trash and debris on the trails?
 
Let's do it. We're WAAAAAAAYYYYYY overdue!
 
I was just there two weeks ago swimming. We did not go all the way to where fossil creek crosses the road. We stoped and hiked down to the river and then up swimming in different water holes. I remember seeing big stuff like water coolers and chairs. There was also an axle down there.

Count me in. I have no issues with timing. I can bring a couple of helpers too.
 
Is there a date set? I have some Saturday surveying labs for school.
 
We are working on an enhancement for this event, it will determine the date. Will start a new thread as soon as the info is firm.
 
I would be really interested in helping with any kind of trail cleanup effort...really bothers me to see how a few folks can ruin it for all of us.
That and I think we gotta get the public image of crazy redneck 4x4ers turned around :)

If it's the weekend of the 15th or the 22nd of Sept. I'm out for sure. Some other time I would like to participate.
