Bug: Forum is loading odd for me

When I click on a thread, I immediately am sent to the page, but then it loads very slowly. I'm not talking about just loading pics, I'm not on dial up. The page will load, I can scroll down for a second and then it hangs. It happens on any link I click here.
There is all kinds of stuff going on in the lower information bar..loading this and that after downloading the pics. When I go back, I have to either click twice to get it to go back or click and wait while it does nothing.

Its only here that it does this. On other boards its not an issue, business as usual.

Am I missing a setting somewhere? I have ZoneAlarm, but it still does it on my work computer as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

no issues for me, with my Alltel card OR on a normal wireless network.....nothing has changed on the forum software in a while either.....

Woody, its Google Ad Sense screwing everyting up. I'm clicking twice to three times after the page loads.

it must be something with your security settings then, adsense isn't causing any issues for me....

It is loading really odd (slow) for me. I am also getting advertisement in the middle of threads, while logged in.

no surprise, just added that and haven't yet filtered it from some users....

I've had ZERO load issues even on my wifi card...impossible for me to fix load issues when I can't duplicate them....

Yes the add is right below the first post.

I'm using Hughes Network Via Satelite. It is the upgraded package for high level VPN Connections.

I can duplicate it with my Verison Air Card.

When I use DSL at the office, no problem.

My Alltel aircard is having no issues, nor was the wifi at the hotel last nite....no clue where to even start when I cannot duplicate the problem.

I think it something to do with the latency of the connections on my end.

Slow load

Don't know why but for the last two weeks or so the same pattern is evident from the wifi sites at the hotel, at work hard line and a lot less delay , the ad's mentioned above also pop up but the forum take's forever and sometimes just drops out , other sites work fine just ih8mud is doing this, it may be my computer but all my other sites work normal. It is a bit irksome as this is my favorite site. I have noticed that if I change to another site and then return it will work ok till it hangs again. Just my observation

Mud is loading extremely slow this morning.

hmmm....and yet I'm in instantly....

I HATE bugs I can't duplicate.....makes finding them nearly impossible....

I have been having the same problem here at work and it is intermittent but annoying because it is a hard lock where I have to CTRL+ALT+DEL and end this program in task MGR.
Definitely something with MUD.

I'm also on the bandwagon that is having a hard time loading pages. The previous descriptions are exactly what are happening to me. I too get the ad after the first post. Other sites work fine and this started about a week or two ago.

I'm surfing thru and posting on a bad hotel wifi connection with no issues....

Try to use it on the Hotel business center and not your laptop.
