80 Stock front bumper/rear bumpers/running boards Free
I'm moving to sunny Clovis NM this summer and have to clear out my garage. I have the stock front bumper, rear bumpers and running boards off my 80 I need to get rid of. They are free to a good home. I know most people in HDC have built trucks but I wanted to make sure before I took them to the dump.

Don't take them to the dump. I can find a place to store the stuff. If no one else wants them, i have a few ideas, but my time to work on those have become short. In the meantime, if someone needs them, they can have them.
x2 on no dump... i could use the front bumper incase i ever wanted to go back to stock on mine to sell i could keep my arb...
I don't plan on taking anything to the dump. Who wants what? I also have a grey center console (good shape, without latch from a cloth interior) and grey shift console (good shape except leather boot). Let me know.
Sorry, sounded like the parts were going to the dump. I just offered a place to keep them, since they look in good condition. I don't need any of it, but just an offer to help out to store a few cruiser items. Like I said, if no one else wants it, i can find something to do with it, but if someone eventually can use it, they can take it, either way is fine with me. I can keep a some stuff here if no one has room for it at the moment. Just let me know.
Once you put that stock bumper on, I'll take your ARB to replace the stock bumper I smashed in Moab. ;p Seriously, if you aren't going to use the stock bumper, I'll take it.

haha, i was going to store it on the off chance i upgrade my cruiser to 95-97 i can keep the arb instead of starting over... how torn up is yours now? ie maybe we could trade and you have the pretty one and i have one that looks better than nothing if i ever needed it?
i had no immediate use for it, so fixing your mucked one would be a better use of it. i can still get it from Sean and you and i can swap sometime? check the color? i know Sean's is 6m1 and i i've never paid any attention to if the bumpers are all the same color regardless of body color.
I will stay out of the cat fight. I was just thinking of storing some things and if they are not used, I have some ideas. You guys get what you want.
FJ40 3FE project
I just had an offer accepted on a house in the east mountains, and will likely be moving within a month or 2. I won't have a workshop, shed, or a big enough garage (right away) to move my project with me, so I need to sell everything. So here is what you get:
-1969 FJ40 (was running 3 years ago, but would need seats, muffler, brake & clutch hydraulic lines installed), It has a hardtop, good glass, rust only on rear sill (a New Mexico vehicle), primered and needs a paint job
I have a lot of upgraded equipment that I have acquired but it needs to be installed, hence this is a PROJECT, and more time and money is required. Here are the big ticket parts you get
-3FE engine with all accessories and ecu, in peices and needs a reuild, comes with engine stand
-H42 4 speed with split case
-Bell housing to mate 3FE and H42
-4 ,31" 10.5R15 BFG ATs on black steellies (New >500 miles)
-Front disc brakes installed, new clutch and brake master cylinders installed.
-Mini truck power steering box
-Corbaeu neoprene bucket seats (new)
-Warn 6000lb winch, 24V
asking $3k for everything, will consider reasonable offers.
HDC gets first dibs for a week, then I will post on Craigslist.
Please don't ask about individual parts, I don't have the time to part out. I will be out of town till next weekend, that would be a good time to look. PM me any questions.
If it doesn't sell, I will have to store it in a commercial unit until I have a shop built at the new house, but at this point I would just prefer to sell and get into something else later, maybe a 70 series import.

catfight? hardly! more of a "hey jerk my crap is more broken than yours.. i want it" discussion David you can have the front bumper. but i really would be interested in your take off bumper if it's not too bad of shape. i was merely hoarding since the price was right and 80 parts are scare in NM, let alone clean parts. I'll get the stuff from Sean and we can check it all out...

Oh I see. The more manly approach, right. I really have no need for any of that stuff. I was in the liine to store it for a bit and if no one needs it "garage art" like Jon said. I don't plan to put my 80 stock again. If I did, I would not have sold my bumper. Sounds like Sean wants to get rid of everything, so I am not one of those guys to leave stuff behind for that price. Take the whole lot, and figure out what you can use. Go ahead and get what he has. Running boards, sure, I will take them. Hold on, let me ask the wife if i can use them as a bench somewhere, or "bookshelf" in the garage........she has no opinion. So, sure I could use the running boards.

If Rudy (my brother) isn't interested in the running boards I'll be happy to take them off your hands. My 96 has NO running boards and with 4 kids it makes for some rough on-boarding. If you still have them- let me know.

I know with 4 kids ages 1 to 10... sliders may get plenty of action before they even see rocks
