Hit by a Hyundai sedan (driver on cell phone – please don’t phone and drive!) at about 35 mph. As bad as the ‘Cruiser looks, the Hyundai was pretty much destroyed, but no injuries to the woman driving it. Air bags are a good thing, cell phones and drivers are not. Did I already mention that?

Truck is located north of Santa Fe, NM (zip code 87506) and I have a local tow company with both a slider and sling if you would like a towing quote. It would tow fine with front wheels on a dolly also. I own the title. Sorry, I don’t have the time to part this thing out. Would make a good project build/repair for the price.

The good:

Truck ran and shifted perfectly
4 Low used periodically to exercise transfer case and shifter
Never involved in a collision, even a fender bender, before this one
All panels past the A-pillar are straight
Interior is excellent
Steering still turns both wheels
Only 196K miles
Never wheeled hard
Had ARB winch bumper mounted when hit – I think this helped keep frame rails straight (as far as I can tell)
Truck rolls fine in Neutral
I have the third row seats in plastic bags in the storage shed, they are included with the truck, just not currently installed
No body rust underside or topside
Tires (BFG ATs) have about 60% tread and are siped
I am the second owner and personally knew first owner – she took meticulous care of it and I kept it up
Always parked with sunshade in place
All glass (with minor exception below) in good shape
No kids, including teenagers, have ever been in the truck nor driven it
Included are owner’s manual and FSM

The bad and the ugly:

Front axle displaced back and toward the driver’s side – see photos
Both control arms bent – yeah, she hit me pretty hard!
Multiple locations of front suspension damage
Rear of front differential/U-joint hit and punctured oil pan, oil drained
Front end sheet metal damage as in pictures
Some fading of clear coat on roof, hood and passenger side doors
Engine/transmission appear to be slightly off of their original line
Fan rubs on shroud
Fire/rescue got the battery cables with bolt cutters and I removed the battery for another truck
The passenger side rear sliding window has scuff marks where I roughened the glass to mount an on-glass two-way radio antenna – put a sticker there and you’ll never notice it
Tire rubber is starting to dry out
Spare tire has about 40% tread
No lockers
Small tear on outside of driver’s seat, stabilized with GorillaTape
3FE engine – you know what that means

There may be damage that is not visually obvious. If you would like additional photos of specific areas, just let me know.

Posting it here first before eBay, etc. This forum has helped me quite a bit keeping this truck running and now its replacement, a '97 FJ80 40th Anniv., so I would like to give the 'Cruiser community the first dibs.
Non-insulting offers will be entertained. Might also consider a partial trade for an OME setup for the '97.

ARB winch bumper not included (you wouldn’t want it anyway – it didn’t hold up well with a side/corner impact like another thread here got into a while back)

Winch not included
