Folding mirrors - how to automatically activate with engine turn off? (9 Viewers)

Anybody know how to set my folding mirrors to fold when the engine is turned off?

This is about it for the manual.

When you press the button...it “automatically” folds them.

Only on the 2018 have that function. 16 & 17 you fold it before the engine shut down.

This is not an option for most of us, which is stupid. I still haven’t trained myself to do this but the trick to get as close as possible is to remember to fold your mirrors in before pushing the button to turn off your Cruiser. Once it’s off, push the button again and the mirrors will “automatically” fold out when you turn it back on.

Or maybe one of those Chinese OBD2 plugs that shuts the windows and folds the mirrors when the ignition is off?
