Had a wind storm not too long ago. Discovered belatedly that panels can take off and fly if installed flimsily by improv (just temporarily for testing of course...). Who wouldda thought :hmm:?
So decided to make something a bit more secure for a semi-permanent install and to avoid doing cleanup work instead.
And, of course, had to resort to my fave: Unistrut! Oh yaaay!
Went with 1/2 thickness to save handling weight. It actually feels much more secure than it looks. Quite rigid. I made it wide for stability, but will still weigh it down when in final position to avoid flying panel support bases...
Tilt readily adjustable. Azimuth adjustment by rotation of the whole thing for now, cuz that would be a b^%$^ to build otherwise.

Check out the antique panel! Soon to be collectible! Vintage 2001 from the look of it.

uni-strut is your friend ;) what are you getting out of that "vintage" panel?

I just love the stuff.
Power: I don't know yet, I just got it and it's been pretty cloudy since. It's a 100W, i'm expecting 80 or so given the likely age. I do plan to test it fully, though, but it'll likely have to wait till summer.
