I have been a long time lurker on the forum, having bought my 2011 LX570 about 5 years ago.

I have had no issues with it up until this past week when I noticed a damp patch on the ground under the rear drivers side mudflap. The following morning the patch had disappeared. The same thing happened the following day so got under the truck to have a look. The leak only happens when the vehicle is moving.

There is a square hole in the body behind the mudflap and I took this photo looking straight up. It looks like the pipes with the foam protection are leaking from the connection.

Can anyone tell me which system the pipes are part of?

Just to be clear, the leak is coming from the connections with the 2 nuts at the bottom of the pic. The fluid seems to be some kind of oil, not water from the drain.

Looks like your orings on the rear AC lines need to be replaced. It’s refrigerant oil.

Anyone know the part# to replace the O-rings here? I can't find it in the service manual.

did you end up finding the part number
For my 2016 LX570 I believe it was the O-ring labeled #1. I ordered them all but can't remember which one I used.

My order receipt these are the three parts labeled "O-ring", the part numbers are what the parts website says are the updated/current part numbers.

I ended up having to replace the part 88710K as well. The 2 lines (88712B and 88710k) were seized together. Had to take the interior apart. Took a few hours.

Year model may matter (a lot) as toyota changed the refrigerant type late in the 200-series life cycle.

Mines 2010. The hoses leaking are actually the two thicker rubber ones. There's pink liquid in the areas I marked, and a build of pink crust near the end of the hose.

Hopefully it's just these hoses and clamp. Part#?

I just used the photo above to illustrate where the leak is.

Thanks for the quick reply

Is this coolant? If it is no wonder I've been topping up lately
Yes those rubber lines are for the rear heater core. The thing you need to figure out is whether it’s a hose or connection or the core itself. Basically where is the pink stuff originating before it drips down and forms crust.

It's crusty at the connection, and drips down the hose. I'm guessing connection, assuming it pressurizes and goes that way?

Possible, and much cheaper to replace the hose and clamps than the core itself. Worth a shot.

If you do that job it can be a challenge to purge the air from the heater core.. I had to drive around in a low gear giving the engine revs for a while to force the bubbles out.

Ok thanks for the tip
