Looking at CCOT or real steal to replace driver and passenger floorboards, bottom firewall pieces and passenger inner/outer rocker. Was hoping you guys could give me some guidance for ordering and install. The driver side piece looks the same but the passenger is quite a bit different. Looks like real steel goes into the tank recess while the CCOT doesn’t?. Is one better or necessary? Mine doesn’t necessarily need to go that far back...the driver side floor is also good from in front of the toolbox also. Does it make sense to still put the entire piece in or cut it? Any thoughts are appreciated

If you can avoid replacing sections that join with other panels, or along curves like the gas tank area, you’ll save quite a bit of effort. With that said, you’re going to be in there anyway, be sure to replace anything that looks questionable.

just buy the panel you need and cut it to fit the repair.

I would plan on replacing the entire flat panel. The pitting looks fairly sever on both, you'll be further ahead to replace the larger area back to clean, non-pitted steel
