Has anybody put a flex fan on their FJ instead of a fan/clutch set up? I'm trying to make my 92 as simple as I can, and as far as I'm concerned, the fan from the factory is one more thing to go wrong.

Why? The factory setup is known to work very well for hundreds of thousands of miles and flex fan are known it break, not work so well.
