Flathead Pass Run on Sunday 7/19

Hey all. We have a couple of trucks going up to Flathead Pass on Sunday. We will be meeting at the Target parking lot on 19th St at noon. Post up if you'd like to join us so we know who to look for. Should be fun!!

I'm over in Salmon but am interested to join in. Won't know till tomorrow if I could make it or not. Will post a definite if I can come along. At this point I'm curious to know if my unlocked 80 with 2.5" lift, 285/75 R16 tires, and no sliders would make this trail...or would it just be carnage? Please be honest.

Nothing to worry about at all. VERY easy trail. There are a few side trails I'd like to explore too. I'm only 2.5 lift and on 33's and it shouldn't be an issue. How long is the drive?

Salmon to Bozeman = about 4 1/2 hours. I could make it there by noon no problem. Glad to hear my lack of mods won't be an issue. If I can make it happen I'll let you know. Otherwise, I wish you all some fun wheeling!

That's a drive. It's a fun trail, but maybe not 4.5 hrs each way fun. We'd love to have you out though! Our trip the following weekend will definitely be worth the drive, if you can make it out.

A trail that picks up just south of Boulder and finishes at Ringing Rocks in Pipestone. It's a full day trip with a lot of fun driving, great scenery, mines to explore and lots of side trails. I went solo and there were definitely a couple of tough spots. A spotter would have been good to have as I narrowly avoided crushing my driver side front door...

Ringing Rocks is a unique place...a geologic phenomenon that apparently only occurs in a few places in the world. It is basically a huge pile of boulders and when hit with a hammer, sounds like a bell. Literally. Really cool place and a cool drive.

Sadly for me it is not going to be possible to join you tomorrow. Sure hope to meet up with some of you at a future outing. Will keep an eye open. Wishing you a great day wheeling!!!
