I don’t think it should be a problem, so long as the transfer case is in neutral (don’t tow with the transfer in gear and the trans in neutral). However, depending on where the oil level is in the transfer case the lack of motion from the gears not turning may starve the rear output shaft bearing of lubrication.
 
Or disconnect the rear driveshaft from the rear diff and unlock the front hubs. Might actually have to completely remove the rear driveshaft and store it in the vehicle if you cant safely hang it.
