flashing warning lights

??? idled my '92 fj80 almost through a puddle "water to bottom of doors" engine started sputtering and all my dashboard dummy lights started blinking until the engine died.It would not restart right away but after maybe 2 min.it did restart.It happened once more a minute later.no problem since. Water on my alternator?

I'm replying so that others may see your question again. The symptoms sound like an alternator problem; hopefully temporary due to the water.

It happens. Don't worry too much until it quits starting completely. Then you can call AAA to take you to a shop.
