Check your glove box, there should be a calendar in there to aid with this. IIRC, its about the same as my 35' RV.

Where's LXTREME? He should have a nice figure to brag about.

On or Off Road? I have conceded that mine goes only as fast as it feels like.

Anybody know what he's talking about when he says the Land Cruiser was once powered by a clone of a Chevy pickup motor??

It was. The Chevy I-6 was common and easy to work on, so Toyota based their design on it.

I'm sorry, but the 4.5 Liter 1Fz-FE is NOT more reliable than either the Chevy 292 I-6 or the 230/250 I-6 made by Chevrolet. Or for that matter, the 300 i-6made by Ford. Or the 225 slant six made by Dodge. Or even the 258 I-6 made by jeep. NONE of the above motors had head gasket problems at all , ever, without being run completely without coolant. It is a good motor, but it's newer technology makes it less reliable than anything with a single barrel carb and pushrod valves. I've seen a ford 300 six run completely out of oil , seized, let sit, refilled with oil, restarted and driven for another 100k with no additional problems.

That being said, I love to listen to my 1FZ sewing machine in the driveway for long periods. Sounds like a swiss watch on steroids.

Rant over, return to what you were diong.
