Thank you guys for the help, ive got a list of stuff to get started on. I did the test where you get the truck hot then test to see the resistance on the fan clutch and there was absolutely none, almost free spinning. Needless to say I ordered the fan clutch, regardless of that test. I will report back when ive got more things checked off.

get the Aisin green hub and you can add 10k oil in it to increase clutch

resistance for more cooling seems to work very well

Okay i replaced the fan clutch with the correct oem replacement. And i think the old one, which has been in the truck for at least 15 years is an aftermarket one. So this could be my issue. New one is already much stiffer.
