Wanted FJ80 or LX450

I am new to this site. I have loved these vehicles for a long time, and now, it's time to dive in and get one. I am looking for a model that doesn't need too much work. As far as lockers are concerned, I'll be honest, I have no idea what that all means (yet). I fully expect to be a part of the club and know the lingo soon enough. Right now, I just want to see what might be out there. I have cash in hand and live in Mississippi, so I'd love to have one closer than CO or CA, but if the deal is right, then so be it. Anybody got anything they can offer? Thanks!

Trying to keep it as far south of $10,000 as possible. Hoping to land in the $8,000 range if I can find something.

You should be able to find one pretty easily at that price point. You don't need lockers unless you plan on doing some heavy off-roading. Unlocked 80's are usually pretty inexpensive but if you get an unlocked 80 and then you change your mind and want to do more challenging trails, you're going to wish you got a truck with lockers. I have a 1992 FJ80 with a little over 210,000. Paint is shot, interior very good except dash pad. Radiator has a leak and some of the window switches are not reliable - work sometimes?? Asking $3000.00 Located in Beaumont, TX.

I have 1997 lx450 in Kansas City super clean interior from 25th anniversary edition with 3rd row seats
I was going to restore it but need to sell. the interior has been completely redone, new brakes, slotted rotors, calipers, starter, wires, plugs. The motor is strong with 265k

It still needs
shocks replaced
Tires
And AC compressor
Front end rebuild soon

It doesn't have lockers
