Wanted FJ80 or FZJ80

Finally sold my bronco. Looking for a FJ80 or FZJ80 for a reliable daily driver. I like the looks of the 96’s a lot. I’m in Phoenix and there’s a 91 here that I like but I don’t know if it’s a good deal or not. Looking to stay under 10k if possible. If anyone would be willing to help me that is knowledge I would greatly appreciate it. Or if anyone has one I’m looking for please let me know! Thanks.

As low-powered as the 1FZ-FE is, I can't imagine driving one with a 3FE, so unless you're planning on an engine swap I would suggest looking for 93 or newer.

What are your priorities in an 80?
Do you need lockers, or is that a nice to have (will definitely increase the price)?
Are you OK if it needs some mechanical baselining, or are you looking for something that is road-trip ready?

I might be crazy but I’m not necessarily looking for an off-road rig so lockers to me aren’t a huge priority. I just love the look and everything about the 80’s. More looking for something that’s road trip ready, easy to work on, reliable and fun to drive.
