I have looked everywhere to find this but it must be a very we'll kept secret!

Seems like a simple bit of info but darn if I can find it!

I actually don't need the OD size. Duh!
Thought about that after I posted.

I have a set of FJ40 DS, but don't want to cut them open to measure.

Haven't got the DS yokes yet that will be built into new DS for the FJ40S yet, so can't measure them.

The driveline shop is over on Ohau and want to make sure they have tubing with LC ID in .120 wall in stock & check price.

If you're going through the trouble of having new ones made, I'd step up the wall thickness. At least .188 and preferably .250, I use .250 wall on mine.

Yes, was planning on at least .120.
Will .188 balance ok?
If balancing .188 is not a prob I'll go with that.

Thicker tubing is the reason having them retubed.
Other wise would just cut down FJ80 DS.

My guy balances out .250 wall. .188 shouldn't be a problem.

ive been using 2.5" Sch 40 pipe,, the ID is Close, just need to trim out the Weld Seem. its around .2 thick and Cheep.. Never Broken it.. but on a long FJ80 Shaft you may want to go with something thinner
