Wow, those are some crazy MPG numbers for towing a trailer over passes. I usually get 19-20 mpg on the highway and between 16-18 around town (depends on how heavy footed I am at the time).

Not to crazy just better than yours.
While getting
22mpg I did not go over 70mph, in short I was trying to get good mileage.
When I was pull'n over the passes I pretty much didn't care about mileage and wanted to see what would happen.

Keif
It was good to meet you glad you liked the bruiser.
Thanks bud,
Good luck on your conversion.
Those dangdo leaf springs popped my trailer toolbox open and it smashed the nose of my jetski.
No worries though,it Could have been worse.

Thanks for the great write up I really have enjoyed reading it. What would you say would be the minimum body/suspension lift you would have to have to install a Cummins.

Thanks,
im Glad you liked it.

A 3" body lift and heavy springs/J's up front.
The J's are not a must but it makes the vehicle real close to level.
the other two had a 3" body lift and heavy spring up front With 35" tires.

picked this locked 93 up to sell, the cruiser pulled/stopped it just fine without trailer brakes I was impressed.
