For Sale FJ80 1992 Spokane

Really need MUDs help here... this is my sister-in-laws car. She’s been driving it for about 5 years but the time has come as it’s not practical for her to own/maintain/drive this rig.

They are in a major tough spot financially... I’m not sure exactly what this is worth but if anyone can help with an accurate pricing suggestion or help find a buyer myself and my family would very appreciative.

1992 FJ80- Its in Spokane, I live in Nevada and haven’t been able to inspect for rust etc. I know it needs a rear main seal and it’s probably due for a t case rebuild. It was running and driving fine until the last oil change and the oil started puking. It was shut off and it’s sat ever since (early feb 19’).

Center diff lock
Upholstery is pretty clean

As I’m not certain what this should be listed at I’ll start at $9k. In this situation I would appreciate anyone trying to score a cheapo deal to pass on this as every dime will he used to feed and cloth my nieces and nephew with a major medical issue.

sorry about the situation, but with the described condition the price is way off even with it being a donation. I think it would be better to do a go fund me page and let the cruiser go for a much lower price maybe $2000 but that may even be too high.

A gofundme would at least get this LC towed somewhere where they can inspect it for what it needs. "Puking oil" doesnt give much information on what it will take to get this Cruiser back on the road much less a perspective buyer. Then armed with that info someone can resurrect this LS as it has great paint, good interior, and hopefully minimal rust.

I am seeing newer Cruisers with same mileage 3x locked sold for $7000K in Northwest so the pricing is way off for non Locked Non Op LC without any maintenance history. A engine rebuild for this would be $3-4K independent shop.

I can help out if you want someone to lay eyes on the oil leak ect....
The best idea of value is to look on CL , Oregon and Washington and see what people are asking for similar 80’s. Maintenance and service records help value.

I imagine that the galley plug popped out of the head if it is leaking allot of oil.

If my lx would sell I would be interested in looking at it, but it would have to be around the $2k mark for a non op 91-92
