I don't see any reason to flush. Extra time, effort, cost, and risk with minimal return over drain and fill. You need to drop the pan and clean the filter anyway.

Hi, Take it by ATR transmissions in Little Rock, talk to Jake. He worked on ours when I lived in Ark. I frequently flush my Fj- 62 and fj -80. With my rigs towing and working still at 250,000-325,000 miles I have no problems with correct flushing. Mike
check the fluid when it is warmed up and running first. Make sure it has the correct amount. My experience with the A440 is that they are very sensitive to fluid levels.
Drain and fill plus filter change made a big difference in mine, don't know if it will in your case but it is worth a shot.
