FJ62 Tansfer Case Removal - PLEASE HELP!

I don't think this is something that is urgent. So don't be scared off by the transfer case needing to be rebuilt right away.
But I would like to get it done as soon as someone is available to offer the guidance though.
I have the rebuild kit from cruiser outfitters and the McNamara gear. If there is anything else I need let me know so I can order.

Hello fellow FJ62: I too am in need of a transfer case repair but unable to locate a McNamara gear kit, how or where did you get yours?

First off,it should take a transmission shop 5 hours to do the complete job. At the most!!!!!

If you're going to tackle the job yourself, then download or purchase the FSM. It's not rocket science.

The McNamara gear can be purchased directly from OZ. I'm not aware of any U.S. Vendors currently selling these. There's just not enough profit margin in these. I stocked them for a while but the profit was literally $40/gear and I had to buy 4 at a time. It was a terrible return on my "investment" and took a long time to sell that many.
