I need to replace my rear brake cylinder. Funds are tight, I know that the best way to do the job is to do a complete repair, shoes, drums, hardware. This is not possible at this time. NAPA sells a cylinder for 14.99. Anyone ever use it or other cheap aftermarket brake cylinders. I want to gauge others opinions before making this purchase.

I did my rear brake everything but the drums and got away with it for like 60 or 70 dollars and about a 2 hours but i got all Napa stuff and ive had it on for about 20,000 miles and still no problems, Good Luck

did you replace all the hardware, springs, shoes, cylinder?

yep everything but the drums and its still stopping good with all Napa parts

cool, thanks. Just got back from the parts store. Gonna do it up tonight.
