Okay,

So I bought the Ultimate Light / Medium 3" Lift Kit - Part# ED60ULM from Cruiser Outfitters. I received everything today, and just did a little inventory to make sure I had everything.

*I WAS A LITTLE CONFUSED*

Hopefully this will help someone sort out exactly what goes where:

The kit contains:

This is what I remember about the lift on my 60.

The front springs are the same, ie not sided.

The A spring I think goes on the US driver's side. I put mine on wrong the first time and had to redo it to level the truck. Check with Kurt to be sure, but if you do it and the truck is obviously off, switch sides. With a fresh install and no corosion, it's not a hard swap.

The longer shackles go with the longer spring, so they go in the rear.

The front u-bolts are square. It's obvious if you look at the mount.

The spring pins are the same front and rear and go in the fixed end of the spring. The frame fixed mount gets the military wrap end of the spring.

Spend some time looking at the truck and a lot of this becomes obvious.

Just in case Dan doesn't chime in soon: here ;)

if youve got military wraps int he back, the end that is open, without the retainer clip, is to the rear end of the truck

A spring is on U.S. drivers.

Square u-bolts are front, round in back

Shocks do not matter side, all buskings fit in all the eyelits both front and back, same with the springs, it does not matter.

spring pins are the same for all 4 springs, to the inside, bigger more round piece is to the outside (grease fitting), you'll see when you take the ols ones off, and the instructions in the box

the trianglular shackles, the middle pin (the one that does not go in either the spring or frame, goes to the inside on both front and rear.

. . . so that answers just about everything.

WHAT ABOUT THAT CENTER BOLT SPACER KIT?

Well I did a little google searching and found the answer to the Center Bolt Spacer question:

Center Bolt Spacer

Also have a torch and BFH handy to remove old bushings along with the PB Blaster. You might also want to use a grinder with a cut-off disk to take out the old pins. It's not hard just a bit time consuming. I did mine along with a birf job, 4-Runner disk swap, and new TRE's in one long weekend.

Almost forgetted! I had to use a couple of ratcheting straps to get the center bolt lined up in the spring. Don't use the cheapies if you can help it. I broke a couple.

^ You went through the right guy getting your kit. Kurt Rocks!
