So the handle for my gear stick has gotten loose and was wondering if anyone has used something other then the handle that came on the fj62 auto..?

no need to re-invent the wheel. just repair your existing one. There is 1 or 2 bushings that just need replacing.

just re-read the original post. is it the top "T" part that is loose? or is it the entire stalk being loose trying to find the correct gear?

Its the top piece you grab on to when shifting. Not sure how it got loose but it ll pop right off if Im not careful.

There are 2 small Allen head screws that hold the handle to the shaft. If those are gone, the "T" handle will come off.
Ill check that out ..thanks

The piece that has the set screws that attaches to the shaft is fine , its the plastic t handle piece that attaches to that piece, that is the problem..its cracked. It works, I was just wondering if anyone had used anything different...thanks

Wondering if anyone still has this part at hand?
