yeah i have been talking to this guy about it, waiting for pics. This could be a good body for my swap.

It would be hard to swing the cash right now though, wasn't really looking for one until april or may. we'll see!

Sweet! Good luck!

Bertha needs to head to greener pastures. Cat would LOVE a 62. Perfect.

FJ-62! :)

You could also swap a 3FE and the tranny into a piggy if you wanted to. If you ever want to arrange that surprise I could help hide it in my garage :)

Hmmmmm, interesting idea there VT, but don't wait for me on this deal.

I ran the original posting by Kitty and I always get the same smirk back when I mention selling Bertha. It will take some hard convincing to get her to give up Bertha. Also, she has told me several times that she wouldn't want a wagon for wheeling. I keep telling her that I haven't seen an auto FJ40 yet and there is probably a reason why.

My friend MissPinkRocks is still interested in a cruiser, so I send her these postings too. She had some serious sticker shock after test driving an FJC and getting the blue book on her Saturn. This is definitely in her $$ range.

What is Bertha? Must be something special if she loves it... and the rest of you think it should be euthanized.

A Jeep Wagonneer :)

A 40 with an auto is harder due to length concerns. I have it on good authority that an FJ55 is long enough for an auto transplant and will wheel just as well as a 40...especially if you bob the rear ;)

Oh, and if you want to be unique you could swing a BJ42 if you can find one...the best thing EVER!

BJ44 I meant.....DROOOOOOOOOOOOL

I upset Cat with all this talk of greener pastures for Bertha, so we got stop talking about Bertha with such negativity. I may wind up putting some effort into rebuilding Bertha's t-case and tranny.

Great find, though, Dan. This would be a good project rig and a way to overtake the my parking lot with LCs (let the hoarding begin!). We'll talk more over the weekend. I just have too much on my plate between now and June 16th as far as time and $$$ go. And I've still got to plan our trip to the July Summit too.

Understood. I could house it in my garage if you were serious about doing the project, otherwise no biggie.

I also got your message. As soon as the ex picks up the boys I am on the way to your work to do the springs! Thanks!
