Greetings,
Well my situation has changed over the years, as they often do, and Im itching for a 40. I bought this cherry, one owner 1988 FJ62 back in 2004. Its been garage kept and left stock. Its Red and I did have it repainted a few years ago. I even had an upholstery shop fix the drivers seat tear. 220K on the engine, runs strong, not a single issue my Cruiser-only mechanic can find. I would replace the upper seal as it does have a small leak. No rust except for a small, penny size piece where the rear window and seal meet. All Records on hand.
Ive been panicing at the thought of letting this truck go. But my kids are a little older and an FJ40 excites me, something different that I can work on.
Im interested in one close in value, with as little modification done as possible. And god may it be a Red one, but I can humor others
Thanks for looking and let me know if youd like to know more or have a 40. Pictures coming tonight.
