Nice work.

I have to comment, that may be the nicest welding cart I have seen!

Ha Ha. Cheap, easy, and gets the job done. Kinda like some chicks I knew in high school.:grinpimp:

Bob is almost completely sewed up. One side is done (as its gonna get) and painted. Pics soon. No camera till she gets back from her Bachelorette party. Might not wanna see those pics, or do I? :hhmm:

Would have finished today, but had a headgasket scare on my FJ80 (DD) OK now, I think.:meh:

kinda stalled till I get back from the honeymoon. I have done a few little things, lemme see if I can find pics.

Nothing exciting. Sold the automatic today, so I'll be pulling that tonight. Been too busy to mess with this thing for the last few weeks, but things are slowing down now (although HOT) Should get back to it soon. :steer:

looking good

I agree, this thread is loosing it's luster as the pictures seemed to have stopped.

Sorry guys, not too much to show. Should get back to this thing soon, its been one thing after another here lately.

Dont give up on this one. I will not.

Since last update, I have purchased a 60 for parts, and my wheelin group has planned a trip to River Rock in November.

So, I am thinking of stabbing the manual stuff from the 60 in this one temporarily, (sold the Auto) finding some cheap 35's, (cause I dont think it will pull the 38's with 4.10's) and going back wheeling while I accumulate the rest of the parts I need. :steer:

We will see what happens, parting the 60 is going well, but the timing sucks because I am having surgery on my nose/throat on thursday. Gonna be laid up for 2 weeks. :frown:

More to come...

It has been dropped of at a friends house for the cage work.

Anybody want to play with paint and give us some ideas?, mostly for the rear.

We are thinking a kind of hybrid cage with the A-pillar bars either tied into or very snug with the outside of the windshield a-pillars. My first goal is saftey, but behind that are to at least kind of keep the windshield in it and replaceable. Just not sure what would look good on the rear portion. Not running back seats, and will run full front doors and rear half doors in the cold/wet.

Hawt pink like an easter egg?

Red with white stripe? Like the Starsky Hutch Gran Tarino?

My pref would be the old Ford "smoke grey", blacked out, black wheels.

WHOOO HOOO good to see you back out on this one .... if you want to keep the top pull the fenders and put the tubes down the side and reinstall the fenders over it so its exo'd
