Ha thanks you guys - appreciate it. I am pretty stoked. The exhaust is going on tomorrow. Then tuning and a little work on the glow plugs and it's drivable. I still have a lot of work to do, but mainly interior stuff, driving lights, speakers, etc. Have to figure out how to get the tent on top by myself. I think I'm going to rig a pulley off a tree limb. Or just get on top and pull.

I just told a moderator to go fxxx himself. So if I get banned - best of luck to you all and my thanks for your thoughtful posts. There are some pretty cool people on here, but I have better things to do.

Why? They jealous of your ride i bet.

I am sorry to say that this member passed away this summer. I bought the truckand am going to finish it all the parts were there. I been reading his posts and he seemed like a decent guy. I don't know what happened I think I heard he drowned but I don't know pretty sad. I probably won't post alot here but I thought it would be resptful to post this. He built a stout truck. My hats off to him.

Wow
I'm now really motivated to resume my long dormant FJ62 "project". I would like to drive it at least once more while I'm still able. Thats why I've already decided to have someone else do my coming swap. Thanks for the update and good luck with the rig.

I also plan to be incredibly nice to moderators, just to be on the safe side. [emoji6]

Well crap!
I was wondering how the build was going, so I thought I'd do a search for it. Sure didn't expect to find this:(

He was a good guy. We spoke several times and always an interesting fella.
Was looking forward to getting down to his part of the state and seeing the rig, then life got in the way.

Really need to start working less and hanging out more.

Fair winds and a following sea my friend.
