Hi Mudder Community,
I’m in the market for a white FJ60 (any year, it required me to put something) with a brown interior. I know it’s a pretty specific request (and I’ve seen some great trucks in other colors), but what can I say. No rush on the search, and my budget is $20K–$34K.
Must-Haves:
Mostly stock
No or minimal rust
No huge lifts
Good condition and well-maintained
No project cars
No body work needed
Preferences:
Intact emission systems
“Lowish” milage or rebuild
Stock wheels
Located in the Northwest or West Coast
I’ve looked at a number of trucks but have, unfortunately, encountered some "smoke and mirrors"—from massive rust on supposedly "rust-free" trucks to dangerous brakes and mechanical issues in vehicles advertised as being in "excellent mechanical condition." I’ve even seen a bad tittle and mileage discrepancies of 200k
I’m hoping to have better luck with this community—folks who take pride in these trucks and value integrity in owning and selling them.
I’m not looking for a perfect truck—but something I’d feel safe putting my kiddo in or using to respond to a Search and Rescue mission deep in the woods.
