I've searched on mud, but a lot of the information is old. Long story short, I can't seem to find a clear windshield to replace my chipped windshield. I can get one but it's blue tinted, no sun visor tint, but again, it has a blue tint and the current one is completely clear. Any help would be GREATLY Appreciated!

Next I just need to find someone in Wilmington, NC who isn't a just focused on "production" and is willing to use their talents on a special truck. So far, nobody will do it. But that's neither here nor there, I need to find the glass first.

Thanks guys.

This isn't related to your glass request...but that's a great looking truck!

You may want to call Brett Paxton at Paxton Auto Body in Wilmington. He may know which local glass shop might be helpful to your cause.

Will do, thank you!

I posted a few years ago when my glass guy did my windshield
I'll try and find the thread

TriVal is the brand # FW00425
I think Trival bought Pilkington a few years ago

Good People, too. Ask them if they can source a no-tint. They did for me, but it was many years ago.

Still no luck on this. Crazy because I can't be the only one needing clear glass, ugh!

Tryval apparently doesn't make clear glass anymore, only glass is with blue tint throughout, which will not match the other glass in the truck.

we are all showing the same part # FW425

is it the individual manufactures that add a color to their glass?
have you ordered and seen in person or just asking the question to the manufactures?

National Auto Glass System asigns the part number that aftermarket suppliers use. FW 425 is the windshield. GTN is green tint no hardware as in no mirror bracket, antenna or molding. FW is foreign windshield, CLN is clear, BTN is blue tint, ZTN is bronze. After market gasket would be the NAGS number plus gasket designation as in WBL F425 or WCR F425 for Precision Brand rubber. WBL is weatherstrip black and WCR is weatherstrip for chrome.

If you want OEM Asahi Glass Corporation Japanese glass, check out @Binmahmoodstores on IG. He might have new old stock out of Yemen.
I'm struggling on this, just can't find a clear windshield anywhere - and I'm 25 emails into various places / manufacturers.

Thank you for the lead though. I did just send him a message both on Mud and IG.

Yep same here. One on a vehicle and the other in the stockroom. Took it off a truck a year or so ago.
Is it like new, any chance you want to sell it to me?

Sucky news. My windshield has been on the long list of things to do, even bought the gasket a while back, but now the very old pitted scratched glass might have to stay.
