Hi!

this is my 82’ FJ60...

I love the Truck, but I am not overly savvy. If you think you could help me out giving suggestions for parts of stuff worth doing to it, I am planning to make it brand new.
Other detail... I am from Ecuador, and many of the parts will need to be bought In the US.

No, We have many of them... found one for sale, an 88’ the American Version, but for 11.000usd, plus this was my dads... I am hoping can be fixed

Well in the USA I have no doubt that someone could fix your truck. However the cost could easily be $50,000 to $100,000. In Ecuador maybe thats not the case. But I see those photos and i think its a complete loss good for parts only.

I’ll keep posting, hoping I can get it fixed for around 10k, it’s cheaper here in terms of labour, but the parts will be the tricky part for me

BJ60 rollover and getting back to the road

Hi All, Greetings from Costa Rica, it's being a long time since I do not post anything about my rig since I sold my fj55, well, after wandering around, selling my 82 bj60 and changing it for a 2008 Suzuki Jimny, I decided to get me a 40 years birthday gift a nice 1984 bj60, that was last year...

You could cut the roof off at the base of the A pillars, b,c&d pillars as well.

Splice a windshield frame on from another vehicle, and get a full length cage made for it. Add a canvas top.

Find another truck. Seriously. I get the sentimental value. Start new memories. This is a long haul even if labor is cheap in Ecuador.
