Wanted 45 Wagon Parts

I am in need of a couple of parts for my 1967 FJ45 Wagon. I know it is a long shot but what the heck.

1. The stock "down pipe" (exhaust pipe) going from the exhaust manifold to the muffler.

2. The middle and last exhaust pipe hanger brackets.

3. Plastic inner door pull handle.

4. Early FJ40 or 45 front heater. (before '69)

I can post pics of what I need if it helps. I know I am looking for a lot from a small crowd.
I plan to post to Pirate and to the 45 mailing list on birfield.com.

Thanks..and feel free to PM me if you want.

I think #1 is still availble new.

what year 45LV? the pulls on mine are metal

#4, FWIW the pre 69 heaters you can not get a core for anymore, so ya might want to go 69+. Is yours set up for a heater at all?

Sheldon, I PM'd ya about something.

#1 is discontinued as of checking this morning.

It does have the front heater but the core in it has really short stubs and trying to seal the hose to them isn't great. I have an extra complete heater with a core and long enough stubs but the fins are starting to detach. I was planning on taking it in to see if a radiator shop could fix it. Thought if someone had one it would make it easier.

I have a feeling the plastic door pulls were only available on the 1967 year. So far two 1967's I have seen have the same handles.

yup, 67 different........forgot yours was the "oddball' year ;) how funny an oddball of an oddball Cruiser.......like looking for a needle in a haystack.......and not knowing what the needle looks like or what haystack to look in :D

Luckily I got a lesson in working in the wacky haystax with the '73 FJ40 Factory Soft top.

If only I would just go aftermarket.........life would be easy.

It will never happen!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife says the trucks fit me.

Ige, sent you an email Paul

I may have an early heater core. same as 40 or 45 pickups. pic would help

Need grey but thanks
Dan

Here is apic of the heater.

Colfax and Tower? He has moved since I last saw him, hopefully he had so many cruiser parts he had to expand! :)

No wonder when I did a search on yellow page I couldn't find the number. When I knew him he was in enlgewood off of Sante Fe. I will be taking a long lunch and checking out his yard this week.

Thx,
Kerry

Hey d55guy,
Did Dave get back to you when you emailed him? He's got what you want, and for cheaper than Wail, most likely. If you do go out to All Auto, tell Wail that Chad from up in the hills says hi!

Thanks,
Chad

Nope I'm still waiting to hear back from him.

I still want to check out Wail's yard to see what cool things he has. Maybe he will have another factory AC system for a FJ55 or another factory FJ40 softtop... maybe not. I spent MANY hours sifting through the dozens of cruisers he had at this old lot, to buy parts for my rig (and other people's :).

And I want to catch up with Wail. I first met him 7 or 8 years ago and had always good dealings with him.

Thx,
Kerry
