FJ40 Parts Wanted

I need the following items for a 77 FJ40. I will pay a reasonable price for any item listed:
1. OEM Bottle Jack
2. Bottle Jack Bracket (bolts to floor under driver seat)
3. OEM Tool Kit (Bag plus tools)
4. Strap arrangement to attach tool kit under driver seat
5. OEM Bottle Jack Handle

I have the adapter you need. Comes with spacer for the gear and bolts to atatch the plate to the tranny.

I traded 2 parts winch heads for an OEM a/c evap for FJ40 if that gives you any idea of starting points.

What fool would trade that A/C setup??? I still have not gotten around to calling AUS for another... Still have any of the levers for the pto box shifter?

Yanno, mine comes with a switch there too, but I thought it was the PO's handiwork as it looks like a switch you buy at Radio Shack. I know the Specter catalog shows the light facing down under the dash.

1979-1983 seat or seat back

hey all-

I am in Wyoming but I'd travel down to SLC or Denver and also Las Vegas and Phx -Tucson....

Looking for a late model seat (pref drivers side) with seat back in 8+ condition (all foam, good material). Headrest is no biggie. mine has chunks out of it and would like a bit better if I can.

Dave,
I have found a handful of the small definetly OEM switches there. early ones had small screw to pinch the wire and others had bullet style connectors.

They all had small black mushroom shaped knobs that threaded on, and fit is a circle hole with a flat spot on it in the dash.

Its a bit out of the way, but someone on the LCML just wrecked their '80 FJ40 in VA, might sell you part of the seat and UPS it...

FJ40: Stock leaf springs

My boss just bought a 77 FJ40 with a 4" Skyjacker lift on it. He doesn't like the way it rides or handles so he wanted me to ask around and see if anyone wants to sell some stock springs in good shape. Also, if you live anywhere near Northwest Arkansas then we could set up a swap of some sort. Let me know if you can help. Thanks!

Yeah, he needs both front and rear springs in good shape. If the bushings are shot that will be alright too. I told him to buy a new set of bushings anyway. Let me know when you get a chance. Thanks!
