Rick,

Just got finished doing the seats in my 82 fj 40, I went with the complete SOR kit, it fits great but not the same material as the original toyota material. If you are lucky to find someone with the seat only, make sure it is for the driver or passenger side as they are different. The material is the same and the fit is the same but they will have a hole in the side of the cover for the hardware, tilt control.

Strange request.......

I am trying to find the ashtray that goes in my driver's side/rear area armrest. It was missing when I purchased my 1996 Cruiser. My interior is grey, if it matters. If anybody knows where I can get a hold of a used one (read - cheap), I would appreciate it

Used ARB Bar for 80 Series

Well, the subject tells it. An ARB bar is my next anticipated upgrade, if anyone has or runs across a used one, that would be great.

I see them very occasionally on ebay. They often end up going for more than you can buy one from the better sources. 4wheel parts (with free shipping) and Sams Offroad are pretty much the best I've seen at right around $650
I looked for a long time before I finally buckled under and bought mine from midwestlandcruiser.com

The PO had the roof rack custom built by some fab shop in Eugene, Oregon.  It's 1" or 1 1/2" tubing and there is no rust on it.  The clamps are really easy just a bolt and there are rubber pads for the rain gutters.

If you're still searching for a t-case I have a spare out of a 79 fj55. I pulled the engine and trany for my 55 but didn't need the t-case. When I bought the truck I was told it had around 79K on it but no way to verify it. The engine and trany I put in mine are good. I can only assume the t-case would be also. I drove the truck on and off a trailer but thats all I know about it. if you're interested let me know.

Need a 15 or 16 tooth nylon speedo gear for a 79 fj40 transfercase. Would like the 15 but will settle for the 16 too. If you have two of them, I'll take both.

Yeah i do have it then, i bought it from a friend of mine thinking my heater was fawked but really i think it's the core.  Anyways it's in good condition, came off of a FJ55, has some surface rust, and i payed $20 for it.  So $20 and $3-$5 in shipping and it's yours.  It doesn't come with anything else just he heater valve itself.

FJ55 heater valves are differnet than FJ40's. Function is same, mounting different

4spd shafts

i need 4 spd shafts and 4spd pinion flanges for a swap im into.
2f/4spd/3spd in a 73'.
any help guys?
