I need something light and fast to explore the desert mtns surrounding my home. I can get anywhere quickly on my dirtbike, but when I get there I'm dressed improperly for exploring(riding gear). And the amount of Time I can spend there is limited by how much water I bring. My Cruiser honks compared to my buddies' rigs, but it takes 1.5hrs to get somewhere that I can get to in 20min on the dirtbike. My plan is to build the Mini platform into something like a formula/prerunner. Another issue is gas mileage.

Just giving a little more input.

89 toy standard pickup stock 3300 lbs
84 4runner stock no top 3100 lbs
IFS or hardtop runs about 200 lbs more.
V6 is suppose to be like another 75 to 100lbs.

fj40 hard stock 3410
fj40 soft stock 3260

all 4x4, dead stock weights!

18mpg is about the best you will get stock in a mini, mine was FI.
you can get that stock or little work in a F or 2F engine in a cruiser.

maybe i just dont grasp the thoughts you have going.

prerunner makes me think of 2wd trucks ass low front high and dune jumpin.
formula is like indy car racing. LOL
giving you some crap.

light and fast has no business trying to describe a mini, without a crap ton of
work and $$$$$$$$$$.

Fzj-80 3rd Row Seats

Looking for 3rd row seats for 93 FZJ-80 gray leather to match existing interior. Have drawer system in back at moment but would like the availability of 2 more seats in case the grandparents want to tag along. Refuse to buy a mini-van.

Taking time and money away from my Cruiser is the point. One size fits all doesn't work with trucks or condoms.

More than likely your goin to have to piece it all together. Usually there is a hardtop here, front doors there and rears another place. Make sure to hit up ebay. Good luck
