LX450 Phone parts

today I finally found someone to activate the analog cell phone built into my LX450. Was talking to the saleswoman (not always the best source for info) she says wile analog is being phased out it should be usable for a few more years, wile it works just fine right now I would like to have some spare parts around as this kind of thing is hard to find when you actually need it.

I have read that many do not use their analog phones in the LX450's and that several people remove them altogether.

if anybody has phone system parts handset, transceiver, steering wheel switches, wire bundles, ect that they do not want I would be glad to pay shipping and some extra for your time to get them.

Thank You for reading

3F Power Steering Pump

I believe the pump is the same as a 60.. now the bracket is different though. I doubt it makes a difference though if you find a good bracket it probably still has the pump on it :D

Attention "non" North American listers

i took a look through the local wreckers and there was a fj55 with under dash air, but it appeared to be a different brand than nippon, so i didn't look too closely. But i looked at mine, and i cant find the box, unless you speak of the one in the photo.

There is nothing under the bonnet which looks like any kind of controller, so...

Attention "non" North American listers

This is the under dash air con system which was installed at purchase in 1979 in my bj40, so it might be a bit different to the ealier models. Also note the Kangaroo Leather T-Case shifter dust boot 8)

I will keep an eye out for anything else i see at the wreckers

Re:Attention "non" North American listers

It doesn't actually "look" like a controller. It's just a box with a circuit board inside and all the wires run through there. It takes the signal from the thumb wheel or slider, the pressure switch and all the other components and determines whether or not the magnetic clutch can operate.
On my '60 it's on the front of the evaporator box and on the '55 it's on the bottom of the evaporator near the fan connection. I've no idea where it might be found on the BJ40 as I don't think they ever had factory A/C on this continent (if they did it would not help me as they are all 24v over here). Gassers will have a knob (blue on FJ60's) that set the RPM when the A/C clutch will open. A diesel one like on my BJ60 and for the one I'd need, do not have a knob.
