22 May STATUS UPDATE:. Found it.
just moved back to Washington state after a 10 year absence and to celebrate I'd like to get back into an old Landcruiser. I've been doing a lot of searching but figured I'd put it out in here because someone may know about something that may not come up right away online. I had an FJ62 before but always secretly preferred a manual trans and round headlights, so I am looking for an HJ or FJ60. This will be a daily driver with occasional trips to the mountains, so my must haves are that it needs to be solid mechanically with a good suspension, manual trans, and that it's been taken care of.
My ideal rig would be blue (or red), diesel powered, h55, and have a cooler of beer in the back. I am open to other powertrain combinations (and those without coolers of beer) but the closer I can get to this setup, the better. I am not open to much with rust (it killed my last one). Character dents and dings are ok. Definitely can't do white ( they remind me of my least favorite country)...will pay up to $20k for the right one. -Chad
