FJ60 Carb Not Getting Gas

The carb fan isn't the cause, but increased under hood temps may have contributed to the deterioration of the rubber bits in the carb. Seems like it's time for a carb rebuild. The wire to the Thermosensor under the intake manifold is a ground; it's what controls the carb fan. Verify that blue wire is the correct wire to the thermosensor and ground it to a chassis bolt with 'Key on/Engine Off' and the fan should go on. If it doesn't there's more wrong.

Thanks for the help! Got the needle unstuck and now she's back up and running. I think the root cause could be that my carb fan isn't running. When poking around I found two wires (photo attached) that are disconnected. They are different colors so I'm going to do a little more digging and see if I can get the fan back up.

FWIW I just went thru the same issue. Thought it was fuel pump...nope. It had been sitting a bit. I found the throttle plunger was dried out and stuck. I went ahead and replaced it and cleaned out the jets inside. Runs like a top now.
