Hi I searched around but unfortunately wasn't able to find someone with the same issue.

I was driving last week with my AC on full blast (warm summer down here in the south) and suddenly my AC stopped blowing/running. Everything on the panel seems to no longer work which makes me think that maybe it is something electrical. I checked/swapped out the fuse labeled "AC" but it seemed like that isn't the problem.

Also I saw the thread which sounded similar (see here) and was going to try and reset the circuit breaker but it seems that my fuse compartment is different than the one that is pictured. Mine is an 82 FJ60 and I wasn't sure if possibly that compartment (and location of the circuit breaker) may have changed. In the thread it mentions that it is labeled as "heater" but I wasn't able to find this.

I would greatly appreciate any and all help that you might be able to extend and thanks so much in advance!

Your blower motor is pulling a lot of current. Prolly time to replace/fix .

Could be just a one-time issue, but those motors don't last forever and they are 35 years old ... Your call, but may want to get one while they're still available. In the future who knows about parts availability, but I suppose you could always get it rebuilt.

Thats a good point. I will start looking for one... Thanks!

Four Seasons makes a Canadian-made one . rockauto.com sells it.

Yup. That looks like it. None of the aftermkt ones come with a hamster wheel, but doesn't matter cuz they don't wear...

Jason, where did the circuit breaker go..? Top right corner of my fuse box is blank…it doesn’t look like a regular glass fuse would go there, as there are no clips to hold a fuse. Do you have a pic you could show me..?? Thanks.

Being from Louisiana, you might find that your fan is dragging due to leaf and pine needle buildup around the fan wheel. Mine looked like a bird nest in there.
