Just got this... From Wilhelmina Adams with JCP.

Hi Jason,

I am looking for a 1980's Fj60 or fj62 for a JCPenney photo. shoot. Not in
perfect shiny condition. Light neutral color. We would need the vehicle for 3-4
hours 1 day during the week of 6/27 and 7/5-7/7. We have not nailed down the
date yet. We will pay $500 for the rental which would include someone to drive
it to downtown dallas. Do you have any contacts? My cell # is 214-662-0955

Paging Nick Stone..or John Winstead...to the white courtesy phone......

I sold John a tan FJ60 one year ago..........you don't have it.

I'll call and see if they want my beat up rig.
;-)
Nick

Do call her Nick and let me know how it goes. She actually emailed me back today wondering why nobody has replied to her. I figured you guys would be all over this.

Josh offered his up.........'course it's green......

I emailed some pics of Sparrow to Willy yesterday. She likes them and said I will hear back from them after the Art Director approves.

LOL, I guess I may get my truck published for the first time. Of course, I won't be in the picture, just some models displaying Penney's merchandise.
Happy Trails! N

Nick, Are you taking yours or are they still looking? Mike

Go ahead and call her Mike.
I sent Willy some pics and she asked for more of the interior. That was Wednesday night. I haven't heard back. I figure she has to clear the choice with the Art Director. Sparrow looks like a work truck. They may be needing a cleaner truck than mine. Go for it!

I could send pics of the orange one... LMAO. Maybe try the white one, tho the big hole in the dash for a radio may be a downer, and its white.

Oh well... I got my "Dear John" email yesterday. ;-)
They said it's going to be a woman's catalog.... and, my truck is a bit too rough.
I thanked 'em anyway. I bet it's really hard to satisfy anybody with a title of Art Director.

Nick, I think my daughters cruiser,( Cindy) is the one. Will know for sure next week. Thanks, MIke

Congrats!
Carry on,
Nick

We will see Nick, they sure wanted pics, even the front seat. Mike

Just got done. The people were very nice. Model had flown in from Paris to sit in a 23 year old Land Cruiser. Two people asked about the club. Had others want the cruiser or where could they get one. Hot as you know what down town. Fun time. MIke

Well done Mike!

I hope you remembered to ask Penney's for 100 copies of the catalog.... to share with your friends!
Happy Trails! N
