Hi I am helping a first time cruiser head purchase a 55, he is 23 years old and had a toy 55 truck growing up that he had fond memories of and his dream has always been to own one, he is looking for a good solid starter truck with minimal rust and mostly original, I have a 2f and 5 speed that I would gladly give him if it needs a new heart! Please help this young man’s dream come true, he may be able to go to 20k for the right truck. Original patina ok! It’s more about a solid starting point. Let me know what you guys have, cash deal. Any year is ok.we can travel.

I'm selling my 78 FJ55. It's definitely got the patina you mentioned. It's 95% original, starts, runs and drives, though most of the trim and interior has been removed for a resto that stalled when the owner (my friend) got cancer. Everything was labeled and put in boxes. It has the stock drive train at 78,000 miles, and it runs good. It's located in Minnesota. I'd love to see it go to a young guy just getting into the hobby. Lmk if interested.

Ihave a 1974 fj 55 but i have no idea on vallue.used to own a shop stopped resto work 15 years ago.disc brake front off a 78 pig.warn mx8274 winch carpet kit from manefre.4 wheel rancho add a leaf.wrangler dual battery se up.4 speed.working rear electric gate.reupholstered seats.p.o.r on interior floor .fiberglass fenders.full length roof rack.very sound mechanically it is far from perfect repainted solid white 15 years ago but never buffed
