For Sale FJ45 Weatherstripping/Rubber - New (KSA)

Hi all,

At the request of a fellow mudder I went to the local Toyota parts dealer to see what was available for the FJ45s. Here is what I found. While I understand that a lot of this may be locally available, the costs in Saudi may be cheaper given the lack of tax.

If anyone needs these parts, let me know and once I have them in hand you can pay me and I'll either ship them from Saudi or bring them back to the States the next time I'm there and mail them from inside the US (delayed shipping obviously). One point of clarification, sourcing of parts is not as seamless here as it is in the States. It's more of a hit or miss type of thing, sometimes with multiple trips to the supplier over the span of a couple of weeks. So that's why no payments until I physically have the parts in my hand.

I got a better than expected response for these parts and I believe I have sent everyone a PM to confirm the requests. If I asked a question, please get back to me so I can order from the parts guy this weekend. Assuming it is in stock in the Kingdom, I should have parts in a week or so. Parts have to come from the other side of the country. If it's not in stock I will also let you know. Unfortunately the way it works I will not know whether it is truly in stock until I receive the order, so patience is appreciated.

As for FJ45 corner glass, it is likely available in the junkyards, but I am not ready to start pulling it at this time. I can't see shipping glass internationally so I would have to bring it back to the states the next time I was back.

I Sent you a message about the 45 bumperettes. Didn't even think of the possibility those could be found in a salvage yard. Is that maybe a possibility?

I went to the parts guy today to get the ball rolling. The good news is that most of the items should be available, however I won't know for sure until next week.

The not so good news is that the number of rear bumpers available is limited. Now their English is better than my Arabic, but that is not saying much, but the way I understood it is that there is likely only 9 bumpers currently in-Kingdom. Naturally I have requested every last one.

I have also inquired about sourcing additional ones from the UAE but have not heard back yet.

When I go next week to get what was delivered I'll have a better picture of the situation and as to whether they can order additional from Japan and if so what the expected wait time will be.

Arrrgh! So the parts guy ordered 9 of the cushions for the accelerator torque rod bracket instead of the rear bumper gate rubber. Nothing like going and finding out that the wrong parts were ordered.

I have now re-ordered the "correct" parts and should have them in hand on Saturday. As for the other parts people have requested, I have most in hand already. Give me a day or two and I'll have individual PM's to each person letting them know what is available and at what cost.
