I have a rusty, but very complete shortbed (or FJ40 softtop) gate for sale. It's from a western truck, but has rust through at the bottom, inside and out. This gate may be most useful for its complete set of hinges, latches, chain retainers, and license plate bracket and light assembly. Those parts are unrusty, un-bent, and tight. Install them on a repro gate, and you're good to go. I do not have the truck-mounted catches (easily fabbed) or OEM chains for this gate.
The second date is a battered '65 longbed gate, with hinges (3) and latches (2). There is no rust-through, but the gate is twisted and might need disassembly for straightening. It would be good gate to take apart and make narrower for a custom project or beat out and use on a non-show truck.
I'd like $175 per gate, and you pay the shipping, if needed. Located in Colorado Springs, CO. More pix on request - I have shots of the insides of each gate, and edge shots.
